Here's the Day 3 map! s33.postimg.org/gay64kopb/Sunny_Plains_Day_3.pngThis map isn't as vastly different as the previous day's map. After all, why mess with what worked in the first place? A few changes occured, most important being the series of ledges to the north, and those odd little Swarming Sheargrubs. Those characters will be moving around actively throughout the duration of the map. ? in the Treasure List indicates the treasure isn't immediately visible. Alright, we all good? Now pick a base, and REMEMBER! Take out your Pikmin on the same turn as you land, since it's part of your first turn! Unless you want to go it on your own... Base 1: Groto the Hobo (Sean-Inc)Base 2: Free! Base 3: Free!

Turn 1
Groto's ship, the S.S. Potato, crashes into the ground. Groto jumps out of it with his 22 Pikmin, unscathed and uncaring. His Pikmin seemed a bit dizzy from the impact, but are otherwise similarly unfazed. They await orders.

Turn 2
Groto suddenly faces his army of Pikmin and realizes something is amiss. He could've sworn he had seen 22 shapes jump out with him, but his counter said there were only 21 Pikmin... There's an impostor in the ranks! He closely inspects his troops one by one, and notices one of them looks strangely... potato-esque. Almost as if it was a potato! The Potato suddenly lunges at Groto, telepathically screaming about how Groto killed his father. Rolling for dodge... (Rolled 8 on 1d10) Groto expertly rolls out of the way as the Potato flies off into the distance and falls into the grass nearby. Groto sees the grass shuffle about, indicating the Potato is still planning to do something.

Turn 3 (7AM)Groto sends 18 Pikmin after the Potato. The Potato, however, seems to be rather slippery, and so it manages to slip away easily... Rolling for grapple checks... 1 - 10 - 8 - 3 - 1 - 3 - 3 - 7 - 4 - 2 - 2 - 10 - 5 - 7 - 6 - 1 - 10 - 10 -> 4 Pikmin manage to grab firmly onto the potato. The Potato starts screaming about him "crashing his dad, which killed him". Groto doesn't seem to care. What will he do with the Potato? Groto: 3/21 Red Pikmin (3 Leaf) (21 total) Map as of 7AM:

Spph! What kind of question is that? I know what to do with this potato. (I bury the potato under the wrecked ship) Now at the end of the day, this potato will grow into a beautiful spaceship, which I will ride on, and eat from at the same time. I also call the dweebs (the pikmin) back.

Turn 4
Groto immediately knows what to do with the potato. He has his 4 Pikmin bury it by the ship, to have it blossom into a beautiful new potato ship (which may or may not try to kill him???) He then calls his Pikmin back.

Turn 6 (8AM)After laughing at how the Bulborbs walk, Groto orders his Pikmin to swarm the Bulborbs. Rolling for Pikmin spread: (Rolled 5 on 1d21) 5 of them take on the left-most Bulborb, while 16 swarm the uppermost one. Needless to say, the top bulborb is KO'd. 6 Pikmin haul it back to base, almost making it there this turn. Calculating attack for the left one: 1 - 4 - 4 - 2 - 2 -> No crits... 5 x 2DMG = 10DMG (10/20) The Bulborb, weathering the hits from the Pikmin, decides to try to shake them off. After having done so, it sets it sights on one of the little carrots... Groto: 0/21 Red Pikmin (0 Leaf) (21 total) Map as of 8AM:

Turn 7
Groto, anticipating the Bulborb's move, steps in. He lunges at it, intending to tie its eyes into a knot... (Rolled 4 on 1d10) ...and misses. He scrapes it as he falls down, dealing a mere point of damage. The Bulborb turns to Groto, while the Pikmin jump back at it to attack it. The Bulborb uses its turn on the... (Rolled 1 on 1d5) first attack from the Pikmin, chomping at Groto. Having falled on his back, Groto gets a -3 to his dodge roll, which is... (Rolled 10 on 1d10!) 7. Groto manages to roll out of the way, barely avoiding a bite on his arm. The Bulborb is finished off by the Pikmin, who then lift it up to bring it back.
Meanwhile, the other Dwarf Bulborb reached the Onion, creating 4 new sprouts!
